Two powerful SSL-design microphone preamps with a large 64 dB gain range, a class-leading 116.5 dB dynamic range, and an EIN of -130.5 dBu are included with the SSL 2 MKII. Additionally, the mic pres have two modes of operation: LINE for connecting synths and INSTRUMENT for connecting guitars and basses.
